High Quality and look Great

Hello everyone, I'm a Soundwave fan. If you're looking at this product, you're probably a Soundwave fan too. This product is THE DEFINITIVE representation of Beast Box and Squaktalk. I have good things to say about both but the star of the show is Beast Box. I think he and Laserbeak are my favorite Decepticon cassettes that I have currently. He looks the part of a gorilla and he's such a unique presence when put alongside the other Masterpiece cassettes (night and day compared to ravage). Squaktalk is pretty much an upgraded version of the G1 toy. If you have that one, you're not really getting anything new here aside from a change from friction joints to ball joints. (Admittedly that does make the toy a bit more durable)

As far as performance of these two go. My THF cassettes held up pretty well to the abuse that my two very young brothers have put them through (other than ravage). The KFC cassettes are, I think, of the same or higher quality than those 6 were. I'm fairly certain that the parts of beast Box which are meant to stay together are basically indestructible. You will have some parts come off of both, when you're fiddling with them excessively. However, they're either on clip or ball joints so neither is permanently damaged.

If I had to list a gripe about either of them, it would only be that there's quite a bit of noticeable kibble in their cassette modes. That said, their robot modes more than make up for that and I'm never going to display them as cassettes anyway.

Overall, I do think these two are worth the money, especially since as of right now there's a sale on them. The only people buying these are probably Soundwave completionists anyway. So I highly recommend them.

Excellent for display!

Great looking figures that would definitely hold up in any display. The heads even swivel, so their poseability is enhanced. I gave them four stars for two reasons: 1) When transformed, they absolutely do NOT resemble cassettes; just compacted rectangular versions of themselves. 2) This might be a me problem, but I can't seem to fit Birdbomber's guns on when he's in bird form. Can anyone else? Ah well, it will only be Squawkbox to ever make it into the display case!
