Toy Review: MMC Hexatron (Continuum Edition)

City Bots! City Bots! City Bots!

In 2013, Mastermind Creations made a huge splash with their G1-Inspired “Reformatted” line. Leading the charge was Hexatron: their homage to Sixshot. With updated versions of all six modes, a solid build, and an imposing size, Hexatron became a definitive SixShot for classics collectors. The only thing that really turned part of the fanbase of was their artistic take on the general aesthetic and color choices. In 2014, Mastermind Creations catered to those fans as well with their release of Hexatron Continuum. Offering a more G1-esque headsculpt and coloring, this brings all of the good of the original release with a more fitting look for your classics shelves.

One thing that this release doesn’t have is the swords that came with the original Hexatron. For that, I picked up the stag cleavers which are also made by Mastermind creations. Great size and immaculate finish mixed with a price tag of just $15 make these a must for those picking this figure up.
