Love the figure

Easy transformation and looks amazing in both modes, fits perfectly in my hand and holds together well. 10/10

Shockwave done right

A few 3rd party-MP companies have their own takes on Shockwave, but I wasn't even tempted by them. In a truly rare instance for yours truly, I actually prefer the HasTak version.

As as aside, you may have noticed the product listing "12 inches" for the figure's dimensions. That is not the height of the robot, but the length of the alternate mode. The robot itself is 8.5 inches tall, which is on par with Sunbow scale charts, although he still seems a bit too short when standing next to his contemporaries on the shelf.

All in all, I highly recommend this figure. It's exactly what it needs to be without any embellishment or stylizing. I do feel, however, that the price is about $25 too much, considering there's very few accessories and no batteries included(of which two different types are required).

Shockwave, pretty good, has some issues

He is good size, good articulation.

Box and pictures show purple, he is more light blue, not even close.

Also head does not stay “out” it falls or slides back into chest with zero effort.

For the price tag Takara missed the mark a bit.

Great Masterpiece Figure

Glad I picked up this figure. It’s a great representation of Shockwave. At first I thought he looked a little plain with the cartoon color scheme, but he’s grown on me and I’ve come to really like this figure. Great pick up for any Masterpiece collector.
