This is a commercial version of Sideswipe, the Autobot fighter who appeared in the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. G1 Red is a variation that reflects Sideswipe's red body color from the original toy and anime. The vehicle mode is officially licensed based on the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray concept car.
