solid legends Ironhide

This is a decent Ironhide representation at the legends scale. The robot mode is really nice, the alt mode is acceptable. Definitely worth the price.

Iron Tin is the Ironhide I've been looking for!

TFSource was very quick with the delivery of this excellent version of Ironhide produced by Mech Planet in their Hot Soldiers line. He looks great and is very cartoon accurate. I thought his silver painted face was particularly well done. You can almost hear him say "Leaking Lubricant!" His articulation is excellent and his alt-mode looks good too! He came with twin silver pistols, a larger pistol, roof sled with treads and a sled mounted (or back mounted) non-firing missile launcher. At 10.5 cm tall he is perfectly scaled with my Hasbro Legends figures and looks great with the H.S. 02 Prime I ordered as well. The two Energon cubes included with Ironhide were an excellent bonus!

Can't beat the price.

The Hot Soldiers line is new to the market but I'm already in love with them. Iron Factory and DX9 are great but $40 for a legends class figure is a little more than I'd like to pay. These are solid figures with good transformations. Plastic is pretty good quality too. You sacrifice some things like ankle tilt and wrist swivel's but for around $20 these are amazing.

Ironhide is my favorite character and this is a great addition to my collection.

Not as good as Soundwave

I bought Ironhide here on the strength of Hot Soldier's Soundwave (who, for under $20, should be in your cart now) Unfortunately, Iron Tin is not nearly as good as their Soundwave. There's some serious parts-forming, with the roof of the van popping off to become that little cart thing, with no place to store it in robot mode, aside from cart mode. None of the cart accessories fit inside car mode so, outside his pistols, all have to be put aside in order to turn him into a van.
He has a waist swivel for transformation, but pieces lock that assembly into place for bot mode.
This, some seriously lacking paint details, and a general feel of 'cheap' make this an alright purchase, especially for the price, but not something I would strongly recommend.

It's an okay Ironhide, but Hot Soldiers can do better. They've shown us that already.
