Hidden away and sealed from history were 18 experimental First Core prototypes. Each was coated in white armor and ultimately deemed a failure—not because they were weak, but because they were too specialized. Engineering notes reveal that every prototype exceeded the original design in a different way: some demonstrated extreme speed, others unprecedented durability, some showed no recharge limitations at all. One prototype even exhibited signs of instability and madness. These imbalances led to the program’s abandonment and the prototypes’ concealment.
