Very nice piece of work

Considering how I was torn between this and the Combiner Wars set, I had to go with this for obvious design reasons. Later I found that it came close to its legit counterpart by being able to switch limbs around, which adds for better function. The not-Motormaster is very tricky to transform would be my only complaint for this set. Other than that very satisfied
Best Menasor incarnation ever!!!

I'm 18 and have been collecting transformers ever since I can remember. When I found about the 3rd party companies making better and more updated characters, I jumped on that train and I'm still riding it. Menasor is my 2nd favorite combiner, and I wish that Hasbro would give the Stunticons some love besides the G1 version...I have all 5 of the Fansproject Stunticons plus their Reprolables sets which make them look even more epic. If your a big fan of the Stunticons and have the extra cash, this is an absolute must have!

Fansproject... you guys have done it again. M3 is a marvel of engineering. Flawless paint apps and a challenging (not hard) transformation. The trick is to get comfortable will Diesel's transformation. Since he becomes the main body of M3, its a good idea to transform him a few times. This will pay dividends for transformation into combined mode. I suspect some of the other posters jumped rigjt in. This isnt your usual hasbro product, and truth be told Toy worlds Orion is more frustrating than this. Take your time and enjoy the clever and useful way all the pieces of Diesel are used. Simply and utterly amazing...Stunticons!!! UNITE!!!
M3 will test your worthiness

This arrived in the mail around 1:00, and I finally got it into combined mode around 5:30. By that time, all of my fingertips were in agony from fighting against the incredibly tight joints and connections between pieces of laceratingly pointy plastic. But when I was done, I felt like I had ACCOMPLISHED something. Like I'd earned a medal.
This amazing set is difficult as all hell, but the genius engineering leaves me breathless. Colors and paint are perfect, the robots all pop with personality, the vehicle modes are drool-inducing, and transformation is genius through and through. And it definitely gets easier. Like many TFs these days, everything is agonizingly tight the first few times, which leads to them being just about right once you've done it a few times. (That said, there are definitely some pegs you'll want to take a file to.) Overall, I knew right away this was worth the money I paid. And despite some parts that do feel a bit worrying, I think a careful collector will be able to tame this beast without breaking anything.
Overall a positive piece

First off this was my first piece... bought the whole and like everyone else spent 2+ hrs putting the thing together. The result would be one of the coolest combiners I have purchased... and looking forward to more. Pictures do not really tell you the whole story you really need to have this one in hand. I was never a fan of the orginal but seeing this up close . . . I now love this piece.
Second I drop a star since you can swap appendages yes but the arms are in need of an adaptor to improve their connection. The slightest movement and they'll pop right off. The wriste configuration was better than the default but the shoulder connections are a joke.
You'll be keeping this in the default comination mode trust me. Even holding the weapomns is a pain to do when the limbs are rotated.
Nice try but.... they fail to wnsure the piece wold stay connected.
All over I'd buy again. :)
Impressive, also a bit painstaking.

This has always been my favorite combiner team and I was thrilled when Fansproject endeavored to create this stunning homage. However, be aware that the individual bots, as gorgeous as they are in both car and robot form each individually are difficult to transform (seams and slots need extreme pressure to slot and peg in) and in some cases are relatively delicate (Down Force/Drag Strip's clear resin window cracks easily). I can honestly say that after the process to combine Menasor/Intimidator that I likely won't un-combine him. It took the better part of an hour and required watching some online tutorials in addition to carefully reading the instructions. That aside, aesthetically the set is gorgeous and I have no complaints about the look and feel of the combined form. Just know that I'm knocking a single star off for how challenging and stressful some of the transformations are.
One bigass sword

This set is incredible to say the least. I was originally skeptic about this set but I'm glad that I bought in in the end. The construction of each piece is solid, but it does still have that slight sense of fragility that all 3rd party pieces have. You're not going to break it, though, so don't worry. The only drawback to this entire set is that Car Crash and T-Bone are essentially clones of each other. This is a little offset by the fact that you CAN INDEED limb swap on this set. A full limb swap is just a 3rd party adapter away.
The sword is just shiny enough (I may paint it later) and the gun is nice and hefty. Both stow neatly in his combine mode.
All in all, I couldn't be happier. Sure, there are a few quirks to be ironed out. But no figure is perfect. Still a 5 star product.
