Like any good space-faring science fiction series worth its salt, Transformers is chock full of unique spaceships from over the years!
SomSome may think that’s strange, considering the robots can turn into vehicles themselves, but you’ve got to get from A to B, right? Anyway, with the newly-unveiled Legacy Titan class Nemesis now on the way and the Kingdom Ark already in hands, we’re seeing more of these giant vessels in toy form than ever before!

But why stop there? Our minds are already turning to what other ships could be a potential inspiration for toys of the future. Here are 10 examples from Transformers fiction that we’d love to be given the treatment.
#10: The Victory

Even before the Legacy Nemesis was fully unveiled and rumours of its impending arrival were circulating, it’s fair to say that a few fans were getting the inspiration for that figure muddled up with this ship. It’s not hard to see why, considering they’re both predominantly purple crafts from the early days of the Generation 1 cartoon. Yet the Victory is different enough to make it a potential companion piece for the new Titan effort, especially as it’s arguably the more iconic of the two in many ways. This is the ship that Megatron’s forces build from scratch at the end of More Than Meets The Eye (part 3), but thanks to a timely intervention by Mirage, it crash lands in the sea. The Decepticons then fortify it into a new underwater base, where it pops up frequently throughout the rest of seasons 1 and 2. If ever we do see a toy of this made, expect plenty of photography in fish tanks.
#9: The Revenge

Speaking of classic purple Decepticon warships, how about this beauty from The Transformers: The Movie? Yep, this is the quirky vessel that Unicron gifts to Galvatron following his creation, and it lasts through to the end of season 3 of the cartoon, no less. Again, some may say it’s too similar in the palette to the Nemesis, but honestly, I’d be thrilled to see them both in formation with the Victory as an ultimate evil fleet display! There has been a third-party attempt at this design, but one can still dream of an official stab.
#8: Autobot Shuttle

Whilst we’re on the topic of the 1986 movie, we’d be remiss if we didn’t consider this beauty of an Autobot design, no? Despite being sometimes confused with the Ark (they’re both orange, you see), the Autobot shuttle pops up frequently throughout the original film. It’s the craft that Megatron’s forces board towards the start before using it to sneak towards Autobot City, and later we see another one being used by Ultra Magnus’ troops to flee Earth. This could be a fantastic concept to see realised in toy form, especially if it included the separating front section as seen on screen!
#7: Quintesson Ship

Sticking with the ’86 movie for a minute, what about the Quintesson cruiser than Hot Rod and Kup hijack? It’s one of the more outlandish designs on this list, sure, but that only makes the idea of turning it into a Titan-sized toy all the more tantalising! Its weird corkscrew-styled shape might be hard to replicate, but imagine what it could transform into with the right amount of creativity poured into the design. Are we being overly ambitious? Who cares, as long as it flies.
#6: Junkion Ship

If you’re going to consider the Quintesson ship, then naturally, you’d want to see it alongside a similarly-sized Junkion vessel too! After all, these two jet off in tandem to battle the Grand Poobah himself, Unicron, so it would be an almighty sight to have them side-by-side in toy form. Later given the name ‘the Minnow’, both this and the previous entry were made into tiny models as an accompaniment for Haslab Unicron, but still, full-sized transformable efforts would be simply incredible to see one day.
#5: The Warworld

Now let’s look at a couple of efforts from the Marvel comics, starting with this undoubtedly badass effort from Generation 2! This is the ship that Bludgeon’s Decepticon army inhabits and is appropriately named ‘the Warworld’ considering that it is a very literal world of war. It comes under Megatron’s command once he reclaims his title of Decepticon leader, and he takes great delight in admiring its destructive capabilities. It’s an odd shape, making it a unique prospect for a toy design, and I’d be intrigued to see what the designers could craft for a robot mode, too!
#4: Club Con

If we’re talking about unusual spacecraft from the comics, we must mention Club Con! This thing started as an underwater base camouflaged beneath a fake tropical island. However, its true nature was revealed once it came under Autobot attack as a giant glass dome erected around the hidden section at the top, and it blasted off into space. Club Con would continue to serve as Ratbat’s vessel until its destruction by Starscream after he consumed the power of the Underbase. Of all the suggestions here, this is the hardest to imagine being realised in toy form, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be fun to see!
#3: The Axalon

Switching things up a bit here, but what about some of the spacecraft from Beast Wars? The Axalon is the Maximals’ base of operations for the first two seasons of the ’90s cartoon, making it arguably just as iconic as the Ark for a whole generation of Transformers fans. It may spend most of its time on the ground, but it’s also an undeniably quirky design and could make for a fascinating toy!
#2: The Darksyde

Conversely, it would be a thrill to see the Predacon ship alongside the Axalon! Though never named in the show itself (well, unless you interpret a line from Terrorsaur a bit literally), it’s since become known as ‘the Darksyde’, and like the Maximal ship, it’s one of the more unusual efforts on this list. It could make for a mesmerising robot mode, too!
#1: The Autobot Tomb

Yes, I went there. It may be the mausoleum built by the Autobots to house their dead (including the not-so-lifeless body of Optimus Prime!). Still, this Manhattan-sized tomb made such an undeniable impression in the G1 cartoon episode Dark Awakening that it’s impossible not to throw it in here. Sure, it’d be maudlin as anything, but given we’ve already had toys of Optimus’ corpse, why not, eh? What could it turn into, though?
So that’s our list! Would you be excited to see any of these happen?
