Seeker mold!
By Dennis on January 12, 2016
Thrust, ramjet, dirge, starscream, skywarp, thundercracker, acid storm, sunstorm and the list goes on and on of uses of this mold. Why? because the mold rocks.
Colour - Any version of this mold has pretty good colouring, with a few minor exceptions. The molded in detail not seem here in pics very well really shines in person. It is a thing of artistic beauty.
Posing - it is OKAY. The joints are still. the legs and knees work well. the hips get a bit hindered by the skirt, but the mold looks so dead on you forgive it. the arm guns/ null rays are always a bit too big and can get in the way. Again, it is always forgiven because it looks great. Shoulders and elbows are great, but there is no are swivel. Legs do have a thigh swivel though.
Transformeration - the seeker mold transformation is a classic and pretty much always the same, the coneheads are SLIGHTLY different, but overall, it is fun and easy compacting nicely to make an AWESOME looking jet mode.
Fun factor- The mold is older and showing age, but to be honest, despite the limits in posing options....just look at it! I mean, that will never, ever be more Dirge then it is right there!
Get him! get all the coneheads. For the original trio? I would get the foc for them, the jets look odd but the posing is leaps and bounds better.
