Totally recommendable
By Ceejay on February 23, 2019
Just got him today, have to say he's totally worth the money, he's the 1st i have of this version, he looks great in both modes, joints are all nice amd tight and has a decent level of articulation, would have been nice if they would have put a swivel around the knee but hey, u can still get some cool poses out of him. I really libe the blue colour its a great way to remember his origins, amd in my opinion, blue streak should be blue anyway lol, im really pleased i spent the money
Worth it

Having experimented with the Chinese KO ebay versions of this mold and several others, I am compelled to inform the masses that the authentic Takara production is vastly superior and totally worth the price differential. Every joint was tight and perfectly aligned. This is far and away better than its unlicensed counterparts, and a joy to behold.
MP - 18B Bluestreak
By MP_Fan_75 on November 26, 2015
This is my fourth version of the Fairlady, and in my opinion it has the best looking paint scheme, and is the best version of Bluestreak to date. The MP - 18 mold is a fantastic mold in general, and I would have to say this is my favorite version.
excellent figure

This is the first toy of the Masterpiece line I've bought, and I am tremendously impressed with it. The vehicle mode is very close to an actual model of the Nissan "Fairlady", and the robot mode deftly combines the aesthetics of the G1 cartoon and the original toy. Best of all, the color scheme is based on the "protopype" colors of the original Bluestreak, as shown in the catalogue and the box art of G1 release — in other words, the toy we all thought we were getting in 1984, versus the toy that was actually in the box. Not even the various re-issues of the G1 toy ever did that.

One odd quirk of this masterpiece is that it uses the Prowl head sculpt, rather than the one used for the standard Bluestreak figure and the "Silverstreak" variant. It's a curious choice, but the two are similar enough that it doesn't make much of a difference to the extremely high quality of the overall figure.
