Still a Good Mold
By Caelus Prime on February 22, 2019
Everything Azalea does right, this figure does as well, and the richer colors are an improvement IMO. She's ceded her place in my collection to the PotP Elita-1, but only because the latter scales better with most versions of Optimus Prime and female voyager class figures are very rare. Eupatorium is still the better figure, and definitely the better choice if you want Elita-1's scale relative to the other PotP/Siege female Autobots to be accurate to the original cartoon.
Better than I was anticipating.

Great detail, well applied paint apps, and just super fun to play with.

First things first, yay Elita One! This figure is, simply put, quite amazing. If this figure strikes you as frustrating or annoying on your first attempt to transform and pose it, give it time. I found it extremely annoying at first since the figure seems to be so stubborn to do anything properly, but this figure is almost 100% get-to-know-it and after a few hours of figuring out how each joint works it becomes a lot easier to mess around with. The main attraction (and the main issue) of the figure is its insane articulation. It's almost overwhelming, since it is very easy to confuse the huge amount of moving components on such a small frame. That being said, the figure can pull off some amazing poses, many almost human-like. All of this is topped with off with a nice splash of color in robot mode, but sadly this doesn't carry over to vehicle mode as she becomes a block of red plastic. Overall it's a very eye-catching piece for my Generations/Classics collection. Again, take it slow with the transformation and getting the feel of the figure. HIGHLY recommended to ignore the instructions and search up a video. Only once you get the nuances figured out can this figure be truly amazing. (I'm probably going to get the other versions of this mold too, it's just so damn cool.)

Yes Finally Elita One! Ive wanted her since she debuted on G1 but never cared for the the two Hasbro arcee repaints and the botcon one is stupid high. But amazing! material is strong as always, mastermind is one of the best. transformation is fiddly as crap but quite fun once you do it a few times. I hope reprolabels puts out a set like they did for arcee and zinnia from this line. her robot is wow...such a great design. reminds me a lot of Devils Due elita one. yes I know its arcee with a new head and shoulder pads but it works as a DDP elita one so well. the colors are straight G1. the cross bow plugs on to the gun so that looks killer for display. articulation almost poses like a real human female. because you can sway her hips, the ab crunch and ball jointed torso really add life to it. just all around amazing mold. I will get the other versions of this mold. knocked it out of the park mastermind. fantastic job. if I was to complain its the left shoulder pops off during transformation but other than that its fine.
