35 MORE 'perfect shots' from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

COUNTDOWN: 35 MORE ‘perfect shots’ from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts has finally made it to digital home release, giving us plenty of opportunity to pour over every detail of the new film in full HD glory!

So with that in mind, we’ve combed through the two-hour adventure and made a selection of the most “perfect shots” for your viewing pleasure! Check out the first list in case you missed it already.

MASSIVE SPOILERS ahead in case you haven’t seen the film!

#35:

The Maximals assemble on their homeworld at the start of the film. It’s hard to express what a thrill this was to see on the big screen, even if some of the characters could have done with a bit more screen time!

#34:

Another shot of Apelinq as he prepares for his battle with the fearsome Scourge. This design may not be all that similar to the original toy of the character, but it’s still quite something to see!

#33:

Scourge stealing his fallen opponents’ faction symbols as trophies was very creepy… and it wasn’t until going through the film again that I noticed the Predacon logos here!

#32:

The gang’s all here! The New York Autobots are looking on fine form.

#31:

Scourge certainly gets his moments to show off on screen, but none were more memorable than this segment of him gloating at Optimus Prime about being a superior warrior.

#30:

Here’s Nightbird making an impression, and looking effortlessly cool as she goes!

#29:

Scourge simply cannot help but appear menacing and brooding even when he’s not trying. Here he’s standing in the aftermath of the museum battle.

#28:

Scourge presents the transwarp key to his master, Unicron… or half of it, at least!

#27:

This was without a doubt my favourite live-action Arcee design thus far, and a large part of that was how full of expression she was!

#26:

If you’re not a fan of Wheeljack in this film, you should probably look away now! If you are, then, well, this is pretty adorable.

#25:

Although it was hugely hyped in the trailers, this scene of Arcee and Wheeljack heading into battle was still a buzz in the finished film, and shots like this are a great demo of why.

#24:

The scenes filmed in the rainforest really are quite beautiful at times, as moments like this fully attest to.

#23:

I don’t think any shot quite showcased how truly massive Stratosphere is as much as this one, even with the looming Optimus Primal in the foreground!

#22:

Rattrap may not have been in this film, but at least Wheeljack got to semi-reference him with a classic “we’re all going to die” moment.

#21:

The final battle may have largely relocated to a desolated wasteland, but that doesn’t mean shots like this weren’t still rather eye-catching! Here you can see Mirage, Noah and Elena moving into position.

#20:

I’m honestly trying not to fill up these lists with more and more shots of Scourge looking incredible, but it’s very hard when there are so many of them!

#19:

Here’s Battletrap on the battlefield. Won’t someone bring him a real fight?

#18:

Mirage comes a cropper in battle with Scourge as the Terrorcon leader prepares to dispense the final blow!

#17:

The reveal of Scourge’s face may have been a slightly strange moment in some ways (it really felt like it was going to be a surprise moment somehow), but still, shots like this are suitably epic.

#16:

Noah stands ready for battle in his new exo-suit!

#15:

The exo-suit scenes seem to have divided opinion a touch, but I for one got a real thrill out of seeing our human protagonist joining the fight so capably.

#14:

Oh, here’s Nightbird again, just doing her thing…

#13:

Bumblebee gets ready to enter the fray. It’s a shame this scene was showcased in trailers prior to the film’s release, however!

#12:

Optimus looks up to see ‘Bee has returned, and all hope is not lost. There’s something about Prime in this final battle sequence but honestly, I can’t take my eyes off him.

#11:

Unicron looms in one of the lesser-seen shots from the film. This design is so good!

#10:

Wheeljack and Arcee stand side-by-side in battle, as the latter’s energy blasts add a welcome pop of colour to the proceedings.

#9:

What was I just saying about Optimus?

#8:

This is without a doubt one of my favourite single shots from the whole film. Just mesmerising.

#7:

I enjoyed this moment very much and thought it was a nice punctuation to what was happening around it.

#6:

Here’s ‘Bee racing Noah and Elena to safety as Optimus prepares to take on the Terrorcon army and destroy the transwarp key.

#5:

As Unicron comes in above him, Optimus stands defiant and prepares to make his move.

#4:

Till all are one!

#3:

We may have seen this shot in some of the trailers but it doesn’t make it any less thrilling.

#2:

Here’s the full crew lined up and standing victorious. Let’s hope many of these characters are kept on for a sequel.

#1:

What better way to end than a big ol’ gorilla roar, eh?

So that’s our list! Did we capture your favourite moments?
