COUNTDOWN: 350 ‘perfect shots’ to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 1986 Transformers movie (part 1)

In case you missed it, this week saw the 35th anniversary of the 1986 animated phenomenon, The Transformers: The Movie being released in cinemas! Yes, it was only three-and-a-half decades ago that dreams were shattered, imaginations were rocked and a generation of Transformers fans got to witness their childhood hero biting the dust on the big screen.

The film has come in for its fair share of critique over the years since, although it remains a firm favourite amongst those of us with a soft spot for the robots in disguise, and one of the most celebrated aspects of it all is the visuals! In its mere 85-minute runtime, the film treats us to a wealth of incredible imagery, a lot of which feels unique to this day.
