Toy Review: Unique Toys’ Alberich

Rippin’ and Snappin’!

This is one of those pieces to where the only real question of whether or not to buy lays in your opinion of the general aesthetic. Good plastic and build quality, mixed with sharp attention to the detail and articulation of all three of its modes makes Unique Toys’ homage to the Transformers G1 character RipperSnapper a treat to own. Strong ratcheting joints and the general “feel” give the use confidence that it’s not going to wear with play anytime soon, and I also appreciate the dedicated elbow joint in its arm mode to give it added bending range.

Overall I’m extremely impressed by this homage to RipperSnapper and would recommend it even as a standalone figure..
