This is the Japanese Transformers Prime series, and features the US versions of the Transformers Prime toys in all new Japanese packaging, and many pieces will likely feature unique color schemes and metallic paint colors.
I have been dying to get this figure ever since I saw Peaugh's review on this guy, and when i finally got this guy in the mail, I was very pleased.
"breakdown looks good with knock out"
this toy would look great with your tf prime rid knock out figure because they are partners and i have knock out so i am getting this toy when i get $90 so i can play with them both
"First Edition Quality"
First, if you don't know by now, this is a Japanese exclusive figure. We are not getting it here in the US. Hasbro won't carry it. Import it while you can, because it's worth it, for one, and it'll cost you a LOT more later, for two.
Just a fantastic and solid figure. Plastic quality is rock solid. Design is really nice. Transformation is easy enough to learn, but takes a lot of work to get it perfect. He has some interesting twists and turns.
I don't care much for the Micron figures, but I have to say that I had a lot of fun putting the hammer/rhino together. You'll need to set aside a good 30 minutes, because the sticker placement is something else...
All in all, a great figure. Well worth the import price here at TFSource. Hurry and get one before it's too late, because you'll regret it later.
"Must Have Transformer"
This guy is amazing. Very accurate to the screen model in vehicle and alt mode. The colors are very well done and the transformation is almost ridiculously simple for such a great figure. Scale is a great on your shelf. One thing is he doesn't have ports like the other arms microns figures and they are very unobtrusive to the mold. You won't regret this guy and I'm glad I got him
"Another Prime worthy figure"
I got Breakdown real quick thanks to the FAST shipping from TFsource, so kudos to you guys for that!
Breakdown is not only a great character from the show but now they made a great toy for him as well.
The Hammer Micron that comes with him was a pleasure to put together and the application of the stickers to Breakdown and the Micron made for a good project for a perfectionist.
Very accurate to the show like most of the other toys in this line. The stickers make a great metallic effect on the figure to have it shine in the light. The vehicle mode rolls nicely on a flat surface except for one wheel which appears to be a tight pin on my figure. Nothing that can't be corrected.
Robot mode is great! Very accurate the posability is rather decent. Could have been better, but it's mostly limited due to the mold. The accuracy and metallic stickers make up for it though. My only complaint is that the stickers are mainly focused to the lower body on and below the waist. It would have been nice for something to be on his shoulders or something.
Overall: If you like Breakdown on the show, get this guy. From what I understand this is a Japan exclusive so get him now while he's in stock!
I give this figure a 4 out of 5 star rating.
A mint box generally has no noticeable flaws. This doesn't mean it is a C10 box, but that it doesn't have any significant damage to the box. It still may have wear to the window, and a small amount of wear to the box that is noticeable upon close inspection.
A C9 box is still considered very displayable and may have a kink, ding, minor fray to an edge, etc. The box is still case fresh and unopened with factory sealed tape on both sides.
By selecting this option, TFsource allows you to continue to add either instock or preorder items to your stack, as well as change how your orders ship out, which can save you on shipping!
