This great custom upgrade kit from Make Toys provides everything you need to upgrade your G2 Deluxe RTS Optimus Prime! This kit includes a sword, lights up and lots more! An amazing first kit from 3rd party custom toy maker Make Toys! Height is approximately 160mm (6 inches) after addition to figure.
Note: This is the first edition/first release of this figure that includes the additional sword.

Please Note: TFsource is not responsible for damages incurred to your figure due to customization. We strongly urge caution when replacing the head that comes with the set. We also recommend supporting the underside off the neck/balljoint when applying the head to help prevent damage to the balljoint. If the head does not go onto the United/RTS Optimus Prime's balljoint with minor pressure applied to it, we recommend repeating the boiling step again until successful.

Make Toys Makes Great Toys!

I've only had this set in my hands for a few hours so far, but have been able to transform him back & forth between the different modes quite a few times already!
Make Toys has blown me away with their first release, adding some much needed love to what otherwise was a lack-luster G2 homage! Not only does this set add a great tanker trailer to an otherwise trailer-less Optimus, but it adds some bulk to the robot mode as well!
Solidly put together, the robot mode is where the set deserves the praise it has received... While it may have been nice to get the illuminated sword blade in clear (to match that of the original G2 Prime's), the red blade (& hilt) look great with the light on *or* off!
All-in-all, I am obviously thrilled with the piece! The *ONLY* drawback that most may find daunting is the replaement of the original figure's head... While I've got a little bit of experience with modifying/customizing Transformers, I was a little nervous when I went to put the new head on the RTS Prime body... Take it easy, follow the directions, & DON'T FORCE IT! I didn't find it very difficult, as it went on pretty easily; but your mileage may vary... You could snap the balljoint's peg if you're not careful!
However, after the new head was installed; I was not only thrilled with my 'new' figure -but I felt a sense of accomplishment with the piece, as *I* had a hand in making it 'bigger & better'!
So, make no mistake; if you have an RTS Prime you *NEED* this set! :)
