Note: Classics Hound is not included as part of this set. This great custom set from Perfect Effect includes three robots that merge together to form a camera! SFX-01 Edge, SFX-02 Shield and SFX-03 Bullet all come as part of this great looking set. Note: Camera is non functional. Pictures are of prototype only and actual product may vary.
I don't usually take the time to write a review but this set really deserves a little credit.
I was a little shocked by the size of these after all the other Third Party figures I have received from TF Source so far. In this case size does not matter! The amount of fire power and cool factor that comes with PE-11 renders the size irrelevant.
I'm always impressed to see the amount of planning and engineering that goes into these figures. PE-11 really take the cake though.
Each guy has his own artillery of weaponry that can be swapped around and added to other parts to make bigger weapons. Each Weapon has a storage place with in the main shield and zoom lens as well.
The amount of articulation that these guys have compared to their size is amazing.
I did have to shave a little on the guns and the knives to make them fit in the hands but that was it. Other than that it is a well made figure set with strong ball joints and interacting parts.
All-in-all I'm overly impress with this set from Perfect Effect. A job well done!
"Great addition for collectors"
Just got mine yesterday. It looks very nice. Articulation is great on the transformers. The weapons are also very well done. All the weapons store within the camera, so you don't have loose pieces laying around. A must have for collectors.
The only cons are the price and the size. These are more like "Legends" class. Somewhere between "Scout" and Deluxe would have been nice, but more expensive. Also, keep away from small children; lots of small pieces.
All together the PE-11 is very well done. Glad I bought it!
"PE-11 - Perfect Effect - SFX Scouting Force X - Set Review"
I agree with all of the reviews for this set. Yes they are small. Just barely bigger than the PE Rumble and Frenzy. They are just about the height of a Legends figure. BUT, that being said, they have the detail, paint work, and articulation of figures in the deluxe class or higher. They are extremely poseable and with all of the weapons you get, there are literally thousands of ways to display these guys. Yes they are kind of expensive for the amount of plastic you get, but for the perfect detail and creative engineering in this set, it is well worth the money you pay for them. I have absolutely no buyers remorse and am very glad I picked them up.
"Say hello to my little friends..."
I will admit, when I first opened the box, I was like "What!?" I honestly didn't expect them to be THIS small. But for their size, they are *fantastic* little pieces of work. Well detailed, great articulation, and I can't think of any other transformer set that carries so many accessories, and has a place for each of them.
I have had to trim down the handles of the guns, knives and shield, but I was expecting something like that.
Also, the scaling and detailing could fit nicely with any scale Transformers.
In short, my new favourite TFs.
"Finaly we got Reflector as it should be!"
PE-11 - Perfect Effect - SFX Scouting Force X - Camera Set is a perfect representive of the original G1 charecter the Decepticon Reflector.
Well ofcor the figure it self is not called Reflector to avoid copyrights but we the fans know the truth ;)
Im going to the point
High articelations and great posability, this figure proves to get a charecter as it apears on the Cartoon show is not that impossible.
The color maches with the cartoon charecter and not only that.
A small unit but armed as hell.
Lot of combinations to creat you own reprentation of the charecter or just going old scool and keep him as it apear.
Nothing goes at wast as for the guns as well wich can stored on the toy!
Not to mantion and awesome camera mode wich remind us why these 3 guys are classic charecter
I dont you about you but if you want to add some "classic" to your colection then go and pick them up before its too late and trust me, if you are a G1 fan you WILL refret not pick them up!
I can't begin to explain how happy I am with this figure! The way they designed it to a T and how every little part fits just perfectly in it's spot are phenomenal.
Each character has a combat knife that stores on their back and then tucks away smoothly into camera mode. The articulation is smooth and highly posable.
My one gripe is the fact I broke the stand/gattling gun when I was transforming it. The screw that holds it in and allows it to spin striped when I tried to remove it. Now it's glued into a fix position, not a big problem since the only time I spun it was to show my son.
This is an amazing transformer and fits in perfectly with the classics line (imo).
"Best Not-Reflector To Date"
Wow. I was always on the fence with Scouting force because of it's size, but I have to say it is one of the best figures I have. For being so small, the articulation is great. Shoulder, Head, knee, thigh, hip, waist, foot, elbow, and arm articulation all in a legend size fig. What really sold me is how these guys incorporate all the additional pieces in their robot modes as well as how they all tuck away in camera mode. Great piece! If you're looking for a G1 color accurate reflector Homage this is it. If you're looking for a G1 toy color accurate fig go with Assault Force by perfect effect. Either way, it's a great buy!
A mint box generally has no noticeable flaws. This doesn't mean it is a C10 box, but that it doesn't have any significant damage to the box. It still may have wear to the window, and a small amount of wear to the box that is noticeable upon close inspection.
A C9 box is still considered very displayable and may have a kink, ding, minor fray to an edge, etc. The box is still case fresh and unopened with factory sealed tape on both sides.
By selecting this option, TFsource allows you to continue to add either instock or preorder items to your stack, as well as change how your orders ship out, which can save you on shipping!
