The Dag or Dagu Base was from the Dagu line of the Brave Series and a retooled version of the G1 Japanese exclusive Grandus! Unlike Grandus he includes some miniature figures and a white gun, but lacks many of the other pieces Grandus includes. The Brave Series or Yuusha series was a line that Takara and Sunrise ran on television and produced toys for after the end of Generation 1. Many of the toys use similar designs or molds, and feature robots and vehicles that combine together to form a robot. Although not officially Transformers, the roots of the Transformers can be found in these lines.
