The Robot Masters line is an exclusive series of Japanese toys, released in 2004 to 2005. It includes many repaints and new figures, as well as some famous names in the lineup.
Based on the Hooligan mold, I would say a recolour, but the fact is, there is quite a difference in the alignments and such.
Compared to the Hooligan version, this one doesn't clip together as nicely, leaving spaces and having it a bit loose at some connections. The cockpit doesn't seem to be properly set in place and the landing gear is very loose. I believe that this is a common problem as I have been able to get 3 of these, and they all have the exact same issues.
But with that said, the colours are very nice on it, but the Autobot logo on the front could have been placed elsewhere as I find it too invasive.
The gun is terrible though, compared to the gun of the oversized KO, which is amazing. This gun looks like it was taken from another robot, barely fits in the hand by an added-on pin, making the gun look even more stupid, and can't be used as a two-handed "rifle", nor can it be placed anywhere when in plane mode, which the KO gun doesn't have any of these problems.
The Missiles are the same shape as the G2 series, but I had one snap in two when being placed in the hand-launcher.
In conclusion, I do like this version a lot for the colours, but for the flaws in the mold, the loose connections and such, I wished that quality control would havebeen a lot more strict.
A mint box generally has no noticeable flaws. This doesn't mean it is a C10 box, but that it doesn't have any significant damage to the box. It still may have wear to the window, and a small amount of wear to the box that is noticeable upon close inspection.
A C9 box is still considered very displayable and may have a kink, ding, minor fray to an edge, etc. The box is still case fresh and unopened with factory sealed tape on both sides.
