"Takara Animated Ratchet"
TakaraTomy's Animated Ratchet comes with the same accessories and gimmicks as Hasbro's version, but the deco is vastly superior! This Ratchet is cast in a much lighter, off-white plastic, and the paint apps are crisper. The metallic red used on the toy's hood, roof, and legs doesn't photograph well, but it is a much deeper crimson in person and very beautiful. Even the non-metallic reds are very glossy; so glossy that I left fingerprints the first time I handled it!
My Hasbro Ratchet suffered from loose peg joints in his legs (and one fell completely off the first time I transformed him) but this version seems very tight and sturdy.
The only drawback is that Ratchet's red "shorts" are cast in dull red plastic - when all of the other red parts are shiny and/or metallic, they stand out in robot mode. However, it doesn't detract too much from how beautiful this toy is. Highly recommend him, especially if you're like me and love emergency vehicle TFs!
A mint box generally has no noticeable flaws. This doesn't mean it is a C10 box, but that it doesn't have any significant damage to the box. It still may have wear to the window, and a small amount of wear to the box that is noticeable upon close inspection.
A C9 box is still considered very displayable and may have a kink, ding, minor fray to an edge, etc. The box is still case fresh and unopened with factory sealed tape on both sides.
By selecting this option, TFsource allows you to continue to add either instock or preorder items to your stack, as well as change how your orders ship out, which can save you on shipping!
