Great idea...with a snag
By Nathan Whitecomb on March 21, 2014
Like so many others here I had great memories of Wierd wolf and Monzo..As well as all of the head masters. And this was my first venture into third party transformers ( aslo getting impossible toys Solar blast and Toyworlds Hardbone. From reviews I would have thought the Solar blast would have been the one to break. Alas, It was this guy while i was transfroming him from a wolf to robot the blue piece in his shoulder broke. I didnt even put much if any stress on it Didnt even feel the peice go. (TG for super glue and patience
Plusses.. The sculpt is amazing. A great piece for show..And again as so many others have said defintitley better than what hasbro and takara put out...and thats a shame since they are the so called big name.
Great figure

I got this figure, and the toyworld brainwave figure. This figure has a great transformation. The head sculpt loots great even in robot form. I love the engineering on the transformation of how the legs transforms into the wolf's lower body.

The negatives: The plastic isn't as good as the plastic used in the toyworld headmaster figures. The face of the robot can actually be taken off, which is really tiny and you can possibly lose it. The figures are smaller (deluxe size).

Worth every penny
By James Gaultier on October 08, 2013
I bought this because of fond memories of my old weirdwolf I had as a child and this modern representation doesn't disappoint. This figure has all the quality you've come to expect from Fansproject along with a neat transformation process. Be leery of the head transformation into Monzo as to not break the visor over the eyes. I do wish he came with his gun but the multiple storage options for the blade almost make you forget about it. Every "Master" fan should own this figure
"Head On!"

A beautiful homage to G1 Weirdwolf and the head sculpt is fantastic. The colors blend in great and the feel is light but not cheap. Recommend picking this one up to add to your collection.
