Love the figure. Very complicated to Transform and store the Matrix. Enjoy it, will get used to it over time. Highly recommended for all collectors. Things on the sides need to be switched around. Tight joints and tabs when first transforming.
Dang what to say other than I love it

Putting the franchise outside the room
This is a very impressive and beautifully crafted figure very good poseibilitity . Transformation was tricky at first but easily mastered. it's alt mode is nicely detailed .it's a pleasure to look at ether way.if someone found this in an old toy store and didn't know anything about it.he would say this is awesome . and looking at it as what it is than what it's supposed to be ,as a fan it's pretty damn close with the treads on its own wing rather than on the back of the arms ,let's it nail the cannon mode and when in active mode it's folded making the sides tuck by the tail end .the round upper body is old school, it feels solid in hand.having 2 cannons that can be placed on ether or both is a nice touch also the matrix on the chain. .some problems it has were in the upper thigh swivel snagging at a half way point easily fixed by opening the leg and roundin the edges on both halves of the joint mushroom .and the collar panels have a tight clearance , getting the head in and out has to be precise . The colors are nice ,I care more about detail whatever it's missing I can fill in myself .the toes could be redesigned a little sleeker.and the hip skirts could use a channel in the middle they tend to be in the way when working with the legs .could use a better shoulder action behind the Rachet it's the only floppy (along with the fingers) part in the toy .other than that it's worth being in any collection .

This figure along with DX9 Carry are my first figures from DX9, and both of them don't disappoint. Tyrant has a nice solid feel and quality to him. The first transformation can be challenging, but you learn its quirks quickly and it becomes easier each time.

Leonard Nimoy would be proud to have this Mini Me on his desk.
Tyrant, great G1 3P figure...
By Ed on March 27, 2016
This figure is large and heavy with a perfect amount of die cast in the feet. The head sculpt is perfectly homages to the G1 cartoon. Colors and paint apps are well done. And a touch of chrome and translucent plastic to kick it up a notch. The cannon mode is kinda sub par, but the robot mode is fantastic. All the ratchet and friction joints are there and the bot mode can hold many nice poses... The optional extra cannon is a nice touch, too...
GREAT 3P Galvatron. Near perfect. 9/10
Galvatron has arrived!

This is a great figure! He is very imposing in both bot and cannon mode. Transformation is easy to learn. His fingers are on the delicate side though and I've had a couple pop off, fortunately they are easy to put back on. The opaque cannon comes with led lights in it as well as the batteries, you just need to take the little piece of paper out from between the batteries and contact (which takes a little work to get to). I'm glad I bought this figure as he is a great addition to my collection! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Galvatron for their collection!

I super excited when my Tyrant was shipped. It is an amazing figure. I had the same issue as Durt. My hips were backwards, but it was a easy fix. Not that complicated to transformer and looks amazing in both modes. it would have been an easy 5 stars, but my light feature does not work and haven't heard anything back about a replacement. Other than that, I would recommend getting this figure. Best representation of Galvatron
Make Galvatron "belong to nobody" but you.

Tyrant toy great collectors item. Modeled after 1986 movie and cartoon. I personally preferred this over upcoming Abaddon modeled after comic book Galvatron. Definitely watch product reviews on YouTube. Made complex transformation easy. Also 1 review noted figure's hip pieces need to be switched so they transform properly. That's why I gave 4 out of 5 stars. Everything else great. Best Xmas present ever.

Oh man am I pleased with Tyrant. The only problem I had was the hip pieces were switched. Easy fix, just popped them out of the ball joint connector and no problems transforming. He looks awesome next to MP09 and MP09 looks amazing with the matrix Tyrant came with.
Looks nice on the shelf...but..

I was excited about this figure, waited months for it to be available. Finally got one, the shipping box was perfect, the actual product box was wet and water damaged. I Overlooked the box, figure looked wonderful for the most part, then I tried transforming him. The hip guards aren't on right, they simply do not go into final place properly which was super annoying. Hands are very small in proportion to figure, and the thumbs are just wrong. The paint on figure's face scratched when I transformed him back. All the while I took exceptional care in the transforming process. If you buy this figure, leave him in robot mode and display him somewhere safe. Paint scratches easy, no instructions included on how to make cannon light up. Figured it out, but afraid of damaging the figure as rubber pieces kept falling out of toggle button. Love the look, but they just didn't get it quite right.
